- We run a requirements meeting, record and transcribe it, and develop it into a requirements document for sign-off. The conversation becomes the specification - nothing lost between what was said and what gets built.

That last outcome is a success too: a prototype that kills a bad idea cheaply has done its job.
Prototypes stand alone. There is no obligation to continue into implementation with us - though when a concept proves out, the path from prototype to production system is a natural one.
